Generate Electricity with a Lemon Battery Make At Home

Lemon Battery makes a simple way easily use some components nearest yours. This project will be helpful to science friends. Batteries' power is an essential part of our everyday life. Battery rechargeable or non-rechargeable carry and play different electronic devices in our daily life.

Normally battery is able to generate electricity by passing electrons between two different Copper metals creating positive energy and Zinc Metal creating negative energy. With a few simple steps, anyone can create a very simple battery using two different Copper and Zinc metals with a lemon. Here are I showing how to make and produce a max of 4.5+ Volt without any charge. Using charge may be more...

First, your need materials that can be made easily.

Lemon Battery Materials:

  • Copper wire -From the electrical shop
  • Zinc Sheet-You can take any or from AAA Battery
  • Mini Plastic box using battery body
  • Two Lemon
  • Red-Black Cable
  • Electrical PVC Pipe mini
  • A thin cloth or tissue cloth will be sustainable
  •  One 3 Volt LED light for testing
  • Glue Gun
  • Others relevant as a video showing

Lemon Battery Steps To Make :

1) Zinc Sheet process from AA Battery- cutting zinc sheet mini size similar total seven parts.

2) Copper wire cutting in seven parts similar.

3Mini electrical PVC pipe cut similarly and set in a plastic box with a glue gun.

4) Wire joint -RED to Copper, Black to Zinc.

5) Now first wrapped copper then after a few zinc wrapped and attached properly.

6) All parts are now put in PVC pipe on the plastic box.

7) Now joint cyclically joint RED to Black all parts.

8) Keeps one side Red or Copper side (+) One side Black or Zinc (-).

9) Now cut and take Lemon water and put it into all of the parts till the absorbed lemon water.

10) Now test with a Multimeter how volt produces. You will see a max of 4.5+ volts are produced if the same format using.

11) Finally you can test with 3 volts LED and see its flashing.

How Lemon Battery Electricity Produced :

The basic principle of transfer of electrons and electrochemical reactions. The juice of the lemon is acidic in nature and works as a powerful electrolyte. The lemon itself serves as a reservoir for the transfer of electrons to and from the electrodes. When the two electrodes, copper and zinc, are suspended in the acidic lemon juice, the atomic structure of the atoms of both electrodes starts breaking, resulting in the production of individual electrons.

The copper acts as a positive electrode and the zinc acts as the negative electrode. Both metals are good conductors of electricity and thus a flow of electrons takes place from the negative to the positive electrode.

Conclusion:

The lemon battery is a natural power resource that can be made by anyone and gets power as needed. More supplies and materials can produce more power from this technique.
