Solar Power Bank Make At Home Using PVC Pipe

Solar power is the process of converting energy from sunlight or bright daylight into electricity. Solar power can be generated either directly or indirectly through circuit-concentrated solar power or in combination. Using solar panels with rechargeable batteries anyone can make a power bank at home using some electronic components. Solar power banks can be a very useful way of charging our everyday devices.

In rural areas or anywhere there may not be enough electricity to charge the power bank. However, sunlight is a free gift from Allah that can be easily charged by solar panels.
In this tutorial, I will be showing you how to make a solar power bank at home.
This Mini Ultra Slim Solar Powerbank is really amazing - slim, small, and smart looking. Anyone can make it at home using simple unused materials. I hope you all enjoy this tutorial.

Materials guide for making

Power banks work in a two-way manner, first receiving a charge from the DC input, and then sending the charge to the user's device. Here are all steps shown.

Steps to making

  • First, take a thick PVC pipe or board
  • Then cut and shape it into a slim box where you want to set all of the components. If you want it as flat as possible, you can do that.
  • After making the case, set the solar panel, charge module, and on/off switch.
  • After setting up all of the support parts, you can test whether the charge received from the DC input and solar input is correct. This is done by checking the device is charged.
  • Now that everything is ready, the box can be glued properly.
  • Now you can color the box to look pretty.
  • You can now charge your charger fully from DC input or solar input if all works well.
  • When charged, you can take it anywhere.

How does it work

Solar power banks use sunlight or daylight to recharge themselves instead of mains electricity, like DC input from an AC power outlet. You first charge the power bank's rechargeable battery using 3.5-7 volts. After fully charged, the output is 5V, which supports many electronic gadgets like smartphones, tablets, and other devices. A solar power bank will hold that power until it is needed. Solar charging is free from the sun and a handy backup, particularly if you are out and away from mains power.

Solar power bank benefits:

  • Excellent compatibility
  • Highly portable
  • Eco-friendly device
  • Easy charging
  • Cost-effective
  • Reduces Electricity Bills
  • Renewable Energy Source.

Conclusion

Power banks are essential items in our daily life, especially when traveling. Creating a solar power bank using PVC pipes is a cost-effective and eco-friendly solution for charging devices on the go. With readily available materials and the simple steps involved, anyone can easily make one at home. This project not only saves money but also helps reduce the carbon footprint by harnessing renewable energy from the sun. By having a solar power bank, you can enjoy a sustainable and convenient way to charge your devices.
